I have also been looking online for high fashion hair styles that include corn rows. I want to use these ideas to develop my final hair design and produce it. I definitely like the thicker corn rows rather than the thinner ones as i feel it adds more texture and volume to the looks.

Practicing cornrows:
I decided to have a little go at practicing cornrows on the Kate doll head to start of the process and then moving on to doing it on myself and other people. Here is my first attempt at my hairstyle on the Kate doll. I think that using thicker braids will be better for my design because it creates more volume and texture to my final design. I don't like the large hair bands on the end. I will need to buy some small clear plait bands in order to create neater and tighter braids. I tried to make perfect partings in-between each cornrow and i think i did well but need to practice it again.
Practice of smaller and larger cornrows.
