Hair technical: basic buns and braids.
Basic donut bun, minus the donut.
1. put hair in pony tail.
2. split ponytail into four sections and back-comb the sections underneath.
3. loop the four sections to create a donut effect and pin.
4. spread 4 loops out so that they join together to make a level donut bun.
Basic twist bun.
1. put hair in ponytail.
2. lightly twist hair clockwise or anti clockwise.
3. begin to position twisted ponytail on head in bun shape and pin.

3. begin to position twisted ponytail on head in bun shape and pin.
Basic Plaited Bun.
1. put hair in ponytail.
2. produce a simple three strand plait in ponytail.
3. twist plaited ponytail round head and position into bun.
4. pin.
French Braid.
1. start with three sections of hair.
2. begin to plait like a normal braid.
3. while plaiting start to add in sections of hair from the sides.
4. make sure it is neat and continue until all hair on head is in the braid.
5. the plait normally until you reach the bottom of the hair and tie at the bottom.
Fishtale Braid.
1. start with two sections of hair.
2. take a small section from section one of hair.
3. cross it over to join section two.
4. take a small section from section two of hair.
5. cross it over to join section one.
6. repeat until you reach the bottom of the hair.
The techniques here are a good foundation to start developing hair designs for my project.
